Installation of New NKDC Fire Door

D. Hatcher & Sons are delighted to be qualified with UK Fire Door Training as Certified Fire Door Installers. For any compliance issues that have come up from a recent Fire Risk Assessment or Fire Door Inspection please get in touch for a full fire door installation where you will be supplied with a record of installation certificate confirming it has been fitted to British Standard BS 8214: 2016.

UK Fire Door Training is a company with a vision to improve the standard of fire door training in the UK. Our team consists of qualified teachers, carpenters and fire door inspectors. We have been working in the education and fire door industry for a combined total of 50 years. Our course designer is a qualified teacher and certified fire door inspector with a wealth of knowledge of the fire door industry

Cogglesford Mill – Maintenance of the Waterwheel

We are delighted to be the maintenance partner with NKDC for the waterwheel at Cogglesford Mill which keeps the wheel, motor and machinery working and enables the Wheel to be used in the flour making process, for milling days, open days as a wonderful local attraction.

Cogglesford Mill is prime example of living history in our home town of Sleaford. Our own late father David Hatcher was heavily involved in the restoration of this Grade II listed building.

It is our pleasure to be selected for the maintenance contract on what is thought to be the only working Sheriffs Mill in England, situated in a picturesque setting alongside the River Slea

Now powered by an electric motor, the mill continues to produce flour and is open to the public as a charming living museum of its kind
